Halloween is Horror Movie Season!

Horror Movies I’ve seen lately…
The Dead 2
Septic Man (just as awful as it sounds)
The Descent (a fave)
The Cabin in the Woods
Cabin Fever: Patient Zero
The Thing (original version with Kurt Russell)
Silent Hill

I might have to catalog the vast array of horror movies I have seen over the years. Salem’s Lot was the first that scared the bejeebus out of me, at age four. I was convinced a nasty green bald vampire lived under my bed. (Jaws was my second movie, after Star Wars, but I don’t count it as horror because I didn’t have shark-infested nightmares.) I can’t recall the title of number two…it was some obscure grind house type film with spinning critters that flung themselves like Chinese stars out of the trees to kill people. Poltergeist was number three. I was terrified of my closet after that. For quite a few years, I was kept far from horror movies. Real life worries like thunderstorms took over. When I was 15, I decided to overcome my fear of horror films and their characters. I read Stephen King books and watched IT and The Stand.

Neon Maniacs
Critters (probably sequels too)
The Hills Have Eyes 1 and 2
An American Werewolf in London
28 Days Later
28 Weeks Later
Resident Evil
Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Resident Evil: Extinction
Resident Evil: Afterlife
Psycho (modern and original)
Alien 3
Alien Vs Predator
Alien Vs Predator: Requiem
Pan’s Labyrinth
Donnie Darko
The Ring
Saw (1-3)
Hostel 1 and 2
The Human Centipede 1 and 2
