The quilting blitz continues! This is the Juggle pattern I started last week featuring Timber & Leaf fabric. I love how subtle the colors are! I’ll provide some better close-ups as I piece the strips. I ran out of space on my two dining tables and added another for extra room!
This past weekend, I ventured down to Castleberry Hill for the FLUX festival. It’s an art festival, with a heavier emphasis on visual, auditory and performance arts. They close off the streets, and all of the shops, galleries and eateries welcome everyone.
I apologize for the blurry photos (iPhones don’t do so well in the dark). The paper banners in the alley way were so enchanting. And I really enjoyed the acrobats and stilt walkers (see the flamingo rider!).
The other night, I caught this little guy scampering across my kitchen doors. Too cute!
Week before last, I attended a quilt show at the Galleria. While none of it was really my style, I loved seeing the intricate work other folks do. Kudos to the quilters who can paper piece thousands of hexagons!
