Neptune’s Jellyroll

Ahoy! Yeah, I know. Neptune’s Jellyroll sounds like a college radio band. Surprise though! It’s my newest finished quilt. Tula Pink designed a collection called Neptune, full of nautical themes in a stunning palette and Moda offered it in a jellyroll (long strips of precut fabric). Little Quilts had a super fast and easy pattern that I followed. I strip-pieced all the strips (just like making binding), then folded it in half, right sides together, stitched a seam down one side, cut the bottom, and repeated five or six times until it was done. This quilt only took about three hours to make! The colors come together randomly.
I finished the binding by hand in record time since Neptune’s Jellyroll is someone’s Christmas gift. Santa baby…put a quilt under the tree for me!
