Hi ho Quilt Enthusiasts! And Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
My son always assumed this was his day (his name is Patrick, of course). He’s no saint, but he sure is sweet. Paddy took care of me this week while I was sick with bronchitis. For two nights in a row, he stayed up with me all night, bringing me water, cough drops and cold washcloths. All that AND he went to school every day and had two soccer games during the week plus practices. Bless his heart.
So, as you can guess, I haven’t been doing much sewing. Attaching binding to the Cricket Blocks quilt was my sole accomplishment. The sewing room is still in disarray, though it will be put right tomorrow. Painting the paneling has been postponed for awhile. I’m working on finishing the binding for the Block of the Month quilt. After that, I need to make labels for two or three quilts on the embroidery arm.
I’m chomping at the bit to finish the white and blue quilt. Plus, Bam gave me gorgeous City Park charm packs to start a super easy block quilt. Thanks to Bam, I have discovered 2 1/2″ pre-cut Kona cotton strips! What a time saver! Perfect for sashing!
Hope you are wearing green today! Don’t get pinched!
