Block Two Done! Woohoo!

Block Two of the Little Quilts 2009 Monthly Sampler is done! Bam was right…these are addictive. You accomplish a little something special everyday. Today I made my first Flying Geese! I had no clue what to do when Bam told me how she made flying geese. Now it makes more sense. I’m still not even gonna attempt to explain it. This block has more contrast and pop. I love the way the green triangles take your eyes in and out of the block’s center!

On a sidetrack, I do believe that the flying wallenda squirrel family has returned to their winter camp in my attic. I don’t want to set more Hav-a-hart traps because I’m afraid I’ll forget to check them and won’t hear the squirrel. It happened once before. I can’t stand the thought of hurting those adorable critters. Maybe I should put little bells all over the trap. I considered putting a baby monitor up there but I was a tad afraid of the creepy sounds I might hear. Oh well.

I started on a third block tonight too, but it’s not done. You’ll just have to wait to see it tomorrow!
